This was done for an NSider fan art contest. The contest preceded the release of the game... otherwise I probably wouldn't have finished. :)

At the time there was a lot of speculation concerning the game and the Twilight Realm. I tried to center this around the classic LOZ theme of Link v Shadow, with the faerie pool and wolf symbolizing the latter.

hey i really love the whole scene, very nicely painted to, the lighting and shadow is superb and gives the whole piece a real atmosphere, although in my opinion links hat is a little flat, but im not saying its a bad piece of work, its better than anything i could do :)

This is even more brilliant the second time around. :D Words cannot describe the mystic beauty that surrounds this work of epic proportions. I recall first seeing this and thinking it was an actual screen shot or official concept art from the game. But even those can not compare to what you managed to capture here. Twilight Princess has cemented itself among the best of the best in the game world, and this further solidifies your position in the artistic world. You've done it great justice. Nice work, and again another worthy :+fav:. :P
